Creating the North Highland Way – the book
How sustainable tourism relates to the North Highland Way
Analysis of information from Dounreay, HIE and the Highland Council about the Sutherland Space Hub.
Friends of the North Highland Way
We are now looking at having a trail of the Spanish Armada with Belfast City Council, incorporating the North Highland Way and right up to Westray.
The first meeting took place in Belfast on 12 June at 1pm. A City Imagining – Workshop (Vault Artist Studios).
LetsGoNorth, now Rachel Carson Enterprises, spent many years raising funds for various projects in the north of Scotland, marketing the north (including its own bed and breakfast and tearoom at Dunnet Head, the most northerly point on the UK mainland). They were dogged by problems with VisitScotland and all public services, especially when they launched the North Highland Way. There is no effective marketing company for Scotland. It is all too disjointed. However, Rachel Carson Enterprises have the knowledge and expertise to be able to get the message out. When you join Friends of the North Highland Way, you will get access to the marketing expertise.
We are now being marketed in Spain….
In addition, we have launched the second Spanish event in Northern Ireland.
